The tender submission period ended on September 13, 2000, at 2:00 pm (CET). The following companies submitted applications to participate in the allocation procedure for UMTS/IMT-2000 frequency packages:

All of the applicants planned to deploy the UTRA radio interface for UMTS (IMT-2000 CDMA direct spread - IMT-2000 CDMA TDD).
