In line with our understanding of our duties, the regulatory authority regards itself as an active and transparent organization which maintains contact to the participants in the Austrian broadcasting and telecommunications markets and relies on a broad basis of information to fulfill its regulatory goals. We are able to do this on multiple levels:

• by publishing decisions on the RTR web site (with due attention to privacy laws)
• through consultation procedures designed to identify and discuss significant regulation issues
• through our comprehensive reporting activities.
