What is the aim of the RTR-NetTest?
The RTR-NetTest (in German: RTR-Netztest) gives users a chance to run a thorough and reliable test on their Internet connection and gather information in this respect.
The aim is to provide users with comprehensive information. The RTR-NetTest offer includes:
- the option to synchronise the results of different terminal devices and to display them in the browser
- the option to repeat tests automatically (loop mode)
- the possibility to carry out a certified measurement
- the user's own test history
- a map view of all test results with filter options by measurement parameters, statistics, Internet providers and period of time
- statistics on the results of the Internet providers and all used terminal devices/browsers with filter options by quantile, measurement parameters and measurement period
- a traffic light rating of the measuring result
- 2G (EDGE), 3G (UMTS, HSPA), 4G (LTE) and 5G (NR) connections are supported; both for IPv4 and IPv6
- providing measurement data corresponding to the open data principle
- providing the source code corresponding to the open source principle
