With regard to the allocation of frequencies in the 900 MHz frequency range pursuant to Art. 55 Par. 1 Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG) 2003, the Telekom-Control Commission decided unanimously in its session on September 29, 2008 to allocate the frequencies to Orange Austria Telecommunication GmbH.
In the official decision, Orange Austria Telecommunication GmbH was allocated a frequency bandwidth of 2x0.8 MHz for use throughout Austria. The decision can be downloaded below.
The applications for frequency allocation submitted by T-Mobile Austria GmbH and Barablu Austria Limited Gmbh were rejected.
