A total of 7 frequency packages were awarded, with revenues totalling ATS 962 million (approx. ATS 69.9 million). Connect Austria Gesellschaft für Telekommunikation GmbH, max.mobil Telekommunikation Service GmbH and Mobilkom Austria Aktiengesellschaft & Co KG participated in the auction. The frequency license fees (auction revenues) are to be paid within 7 days from the date on which the frequency allocation decisions take legal effect. The proceeds from the auction will go to the Republic of Austria. Unallocated frequency spectrum to be returned to the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology The spectrum not allocated in this procedure will return to the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology's scope of responsibility. The Ministry will also be responsible for deciding whether the frequencies will be re-assigned to the regulatory authority for utilization.
