His wife Anna accepts a job offer in Canada. His life in total seclusion changes only when he saves Jessy, a girl who fled from a children’s home threatened by close-down, from drowning in a torrent. Together with his wife Anna, who returns to Tyrol, Hansi fights against the close-down of the children’s home and supports Jessy, who has a natural talent for horses and who participates in a derby in Merano with an almost untamable horse.
